Do we know how a UT site got hold of the alleged deal info?

Do we know this already and I missed it or are we just assuming it was Herman's agent?
I really don't think it was LSU people, unless it was a deeply-in-the-know O-bot who wanted to sour the deal.
I don't think it was UT boosters either, because how would they find this out unless they had a PI following Herman around everywhere he goes?

No, it was from Texas.
The agent let Texas know, but Texas boosters are likely the ones who let the news break yesterday.
We know the agent wouldn't leak the information because it might cause the Houston players to have issues being prepared for the game today, which appeared to happen. No coach wants to create a distraction for the team if they can help it.

He's trying to drive up the money, but do we have proof of that or are we just logically assuming it?

we have no "proof" but how else would they get the information? If it was the LSU side reporting it it'd be different, but it was a bunch of Texas websites.
