They're probably reporting what Random posted earlier. That Jimbo countered, and LSU didn't think the counter was outlandish. If that's true, then this deal is getting done.

So, is $7 million a different and presumably higher offer than the "extremely substantial" offer that was reported yesterday? Because that was ... you know ... "Extremely Substantial".
