Success will be defined the first time his qb throws an incomplete pass or he runs the toss dive. Either of those happen and LSU fans will want him gone.

On second thought, half the LSU fan base will want him gone from day 1 (and nothing he can do will change that), the other half will support him from day one (and nothing he does will change that)

I think Herman needs a different OL to run his system. ours is run only oriented, too big and slow.

however, maybe it's coaching at that position. who knows?

knowing LSU fans, they will let year one go as long as we are competitive.

year two: he'll be questioned in the beginning of the year. the first SEC loss and his heritage will be disparaged. the second SEC loss and fans will want Miles back.

the exception: some of our xbox fans will love him will he amassed 600 yds a game and passes 75% of the time no matter how many we lose. to them, yardage is everything.

For fricks sake. Just don't post if you're clueless. Herman is a power spread guy who wants the offense to be predicated on the power run.

He's had to adjust his offense a bit at Houston because they don't have big maulers on the OL. Even still, he has run the ball more than passed.

He doesn't run the air raid or any other kind of pass happy offense.

I can tell you have never watched UH play a down of football. Why do you comment when you are totally ignorant of a situation?

We fired a coach who won 78% of his games. Recruited inside the top 10. Graduated at a very high level. He has to be better than that. He will have 3 to 5 years

The cupboard isn't bare. I don't think it would take him long to implement his system. His strengths are as a talent maximizer and a game planner. He would crush it here.

you seem awfully desperate to have random people on the internet believe you.

As far as fans go:
You got negas who will give him until his 1st loss. Then you have the posi's that will give him a decade.

As far as administration goes:
Will give him 3 years no matter what and possibly more depending on how bad seasons are and if there are signs of improvement.
