You do understand the whole fracking point of the electoral college was to do exactly what it did. The states would never have formed a union if they thought 1 or 2 big states would control the whole country.

quote:Why wait until rolls were reversed. He could claim that now. No need to do that though since he won the important parts even though obama, soros, the press, etc. rigged the election.
If the roles were reversed Trump would be screaming the whole election was rigged.

America has never been more just than when leeching was a common medical practice.
By the way, your precious FDA cleared leeches hot for medical use :wink emoji:

SIAP . Rush mentioned the 1960 World Series the other day where the Pirates won the Series despite scoring 28 fewer points than the Yankees. I think it's a pretty good analogy.
Game 1: Yankees 4, Pirates 6
Game 2: Yankees 16, Pirates 3
Game 3: Yankees 16, Pirates 4
Game 4: Yankees 2, Pirates 3
Game 5: Yankees 2, Pirates 5
Game 6: Yankees 12, Pirates 0
Game 7: Yankees 9, Pirates 10
Game 1: Yankees 4, Pirates 6
Game 2: Yankees 16, Pirates 3
Game 3: Yankees 16, Pirates 4
Game 4: Yankees 2, Pirates 3
Game 5: Yankees 2, Pirates 5
Game 6: Yankees 12, Pirates 0
Game 7: Yankees 9, Pirates 10

What would the vote count look like if all the absentee votes were counted and none of the illegal aliens or dead people had voted?

No democrat will ever win the White House again without the electoral college rules either, so pretty moot point. Also, these decent, civil Americans you speak of, are they the ones violently protesting, labeling every Trump supporter racist, and in several cases suggesting assassination? We must have very different definitions of decent and civil.

Seriously??? You're not serious
The dems handled the loss WELL???
Rioting, skipping class, cry Ins, smashing cars, play dough, therapy dogs, blocking interstates while ambulances are trying to pass, holding up signs that say rape Melania, enacting the assassination of trump, unfoundingly comparing trump to hitler, freaking out about Ivanka's bracelet, freaking out that Trump had a steak dinner with his family, freaking out that trump eats fried chicken with a fork, freaking out that trump eats McDonald's, saying his cabinet picks aren't soon enough when no other presidents' came sooner, spreading lies about trump hating lgbtq and blacks, beating up a white man just because he was white, coloring books, setting fires in the street.....
Meanwhile Crying over a woman that betrayed her country over and over and over again. A woman that stole most of the Haiti disaster funds. A woman that purposefully denied help to an Ambassador and other Americans in Benghazi. A woman that got the debate questions ahead of time. A woman that supports paid for violent rioters during rallies. A woman that sold special app programs to foreign countries. A woman that broke the law, obstructed justice, and lied under oath. A woman that bribed the Dept of justice. A woman that ran a campaign on stolen Haiti funds and donations from Muslim nations. A woman that owes these Muslim nations favors. Did I mention a woman that betrayed her country over and over and over again??

Pardon me, sir. I didn't know you were the Link Judge. (Are you also above the links in the article?)
Do your own research. I don't care what you believe.
You just post nonsense to me. I'm really not interested.

Did you read ANY of Podesta's emails?!!

Don't get your feelings hurt because you came with weak sauce. A puff piece from the Washington Post is not a definition. It is an opinion.
Buck up snowflake.

Do you realize how much nonsense you've been posting to me? Just stop.
The post that you responded to wasn't even directed at you, it was about something else.

Here lies the problem people dont get...
8 states have 51% of the population. Those 8 states dont get to tell the other 42 what to do if they just so happen to all vote as a block.
End of story

Did you not read the article?
Why do you think what you say about this matters?
Are you not able to access a search engine or a dictionary?
You've established that you idiotically think you're above the Washington Post. Do you also think you're above Merriam-Webster?

quote:
Is the United States a democracy or a republic?
One of the most commonly encountered questions about the word democracy has nothing to do with its spelling or pronunciation, and isn’t even directly related to the meaning of the word itself. That question is “is the United States a democracy or a republic?” The answer to this, as with so many other questions about meaning, may be phrased as some form of “it depends.”
Some people believe that a country calling itself a democracy must be engaged in direct (or pure) democracy, in which the people of a state or region vote directly for policies, rather than elect representatives who make choices on their behalf. People who follow this line of reasoning hold that the United States is more properly described as a republic, using the following definition of that word: ”a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law.”
However, both democracy and republic have more than a single meaning, and one of the definitions we provide for democracy closely resembles the definition of republic given above: “a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.”
So if someone asks you if the United States is a democracy or a republic, you may safely answer the question with either “both” or “it depends.”
