Orgeron was asked specifically about the Alabama and LSU offensive lines and if that was a big difference in the game.

"No question, no question," Orgeron said. "And the one that's the left tackle at Alabama should be here. So, we need to get better. We need to get bigger, we need to get stronger, and we need to have guys get drafted in the first round to be able to block first-rounders on the other side. I think you bring up a very good point."

Not really fair to the guys that worked all week, went to class, and gave it 100% on the field. It's fine to say we need to get better at that spot, a little classless to say Cam Robinson is better than them and that they aren't first rounders.

Yet with two weeks of preparation the game plan for blocking their Dline was to out muscle them......got it

The rant was tired of a coach talking out the side of his mouth and speaking gibberish so they bitched about it

Now we have a coach who calls it as he sees it in Cajun English and they still bitch about it

People bitched because Miles protected the players. And now they're bitching bc he made a comment that suggested our players need to get better.

Yes it is fair. The OL was whipped when Bama only rushed 4 DL. It is what it is.

What he said is true, and I appreciate the candor, but it often feels as if O is pandering to the fanbase to gain their support for his permanent coaching bid.

Well it's not like these guys are only two or three stars. They should be getting more out of them.

LSU fans have been screaming for transparency for several years, now. You want it? You got it. The truth hurts. Suck it up and get better.i guarantee you that the things he says in public pale in comparison to what they discuss in the film room. If these players can't handle it, they need to find another hobby.

I think you entirely missed my point. As I very clearly and unmistakably stated, I agreed with what O said. My impression is that he is being transparent now in an attempt to ingratiate himself with the fans and improve his prospects of obtaining the permanent head coaching job. He knows damn well that the fanbase is starving for straight talk after Miles' inponderable blubbering. Seems calculated.

Coach O didn't need to say it....the results on the field was all that was needed.....some people just don't want to hear it...

Recruiting is where it all begins.....
