Saying they would have easily the best resume of any team in the country, and the committee is all about resumes.

And though they both wholeheartedly agreed that LF7 (not Lamar Jackson) is without question the best player in the country, Booger felt it may be too late statistically for LF7 to win the Heisman with the missed games, while Finebaum noted that if he goes on a roll these last 4 games, statistics won't factor nearly as much, considering his career body of work.

People are so dumb for making statements like this with a month to go. How the hell are we in if there's a handful of other 0 and 1 loss conference champs?

Booger also said on Kanell just now that he thought Leonard will be a non factor in the game

If we beat Bama and Bama doesn't lose again....they deserve to be in (assuming there are not a bunch of undefeated teams)

I would enjoy Alabama and LSU in the Top 4. Would be pretty hilarious.

Beating Bama twice and Florida twice would be epic... NWO style.

People loved Booger when he was down on CLM.

He's the ultimate negatiger.

Playoff committee is adamant that they are putting in "the best 4 teams" and not necessarily conference champions. They showed they aren't impressed with Washington out of the gates even being undefeated

If we run out our remaining schedule and win the SEC, we are definitely in. There is literally 0% chance we'd be left out.

Well I kind of agree with them...in those scenarios that's exactly what the committee will do.

Even if we beat Bama they would have to lose to Auburn also. And in that case, Auburn would go to Atlanta. Assuming us and Auburn wins out. I see us winning out and Bama beating Auburn so it will likely be them in Atlanta and #1-#2 and us at #4. A reverse situation from 2011. Hopefully we reap the benefits of the extra week off this time.

ETA- Yeah I forgot only SEC record counts for Atlanta. My mind is thinking CFP

What if Auburn beats Bama and wins the West after we run the table? Would the same Bama argument then be used in our favor? Something tells me it would not. It will then be said...no divisional winner..no playoff.

Who makes up this resume? Bama UF and A&M if LSU wins out right?

I mean it's 2 great wins and a pretty good win, but is that really the best resume in the country. OSU if they win out will have a win over a top 10 Wisky, top 5 Michigan, top 10 Nebraska, top 15 OU and a top 10/15 Wisky or Nebraska in the B1G championship game, and would have 1 less loss.

I do think if LSU wins out and wins the SECCG (I guess that could be another ranked team but the east is bad), they are in the playoffs over most other teams (may not completely control their own destiny but I think they make it in over a 1 loss Washington for example or any team from the Big 12)

Wrong. We win out and Bama beats Auburn, we win the west.

Bama will not be in if we beat them soundly. I think they'll play Louisville on a New Years bowl.

How do you figure? If we beat Bama, we own the tie-breaker over Bama. WE go to Atlanta.

You have a great argument, but I sensed they didn't expect OSU to win out, when they brought 'em up.

I may be confused but we would be a 2 loss team and them a 1 loss team.

I assume only the SEC record determines the road to Atlanta?
