Walk-in hunting to flooded lake bottom - where do you put your gear?

So it looks like this year one of my top duck hunting spots will be a big flooded lake bottom dotted with stands of cattails. The water is about crotch deep and there is no hard structure around and no where to put gear once you get in. Does the OB have any DIY solutions for maybe hanging a blind bag? I have been setting stuff in the sled we use to bring in the decoys but that usually is pushed way off in the reeds during the hunt. Looking for something less conspicuous that I could maybe stick into the mud?
Here's what I'm dealing with FWIW:

What if you took a marsh seat and modified it to have a milk crate on top instead of the seat pad? Or use that concept to make something from scratch. Maybe a T-post with a platform welded to the top for a basket and hooks just under it to hang things from.
Edit: or PVC would be lighter and easier to work with

I would use the sled. If it's too far and you need some gear near you, a game vest, or fab something similar to a mojo pole to hang whatever it is you need onto it. Could probably do it out if pvc.

I don't know how much gear you have, but we hunt a similar setup occasionally and a dove vest works well to hold shells and a few other smaller things.

That's what I've been using, but if I run out of shells and need more, I hate having to wade over to the sled in the middle of the hunt. Was hoping to find a way to keep my blind backpack with me at all times. Also, the vest gets soaked if I sit down on the marsh seat.

Duck sled
I have one and use it getting gear into the hole, but don't like the large dark block profile it gives sitting next to me so we usually push it off 30 or 40 yards in the opposite direction of the decoys. I feel like ducks have flared off of it before when overhead and it was right next to me. Probably just in my head, but I'd prefer to use a pole or stand or something with a smaller profile if possible.

What if you put bundles of grass in the sled?

That's not a bad idea. I could just cut some of the (overly abundant) cattails from a different location and lay them over the sled.

Now you're thinking like an engineer that's usual what I do with my kayak. Cut some spartina and put it on top of the burlap just to break up the shape and give some color.

If you want to really step your game up, replace the sled and seat with a little boat:
