First 25 plays should be passed to the sideline (jump balls) to our big tall wide receivers.

Leonard should not see a carry until midway 2ND qtr.

I sure hope so. If Etling has a career game then the RB will have a great night, or even +/- 200 passing yards then LF will have a great night as well.

Passrush will be nasty and unlike anything he has experienced so far.
Etling began his college career running for his life on every snap. He's definitely accustomed to it.

Ole Miss and Arky both threw for 400+ therefore that is their weakness, which now we have an OC and HC who will make a proper game plan to exploit that. Throw to the TE, WR and RB should open lanes for the RB. A few quick slants early and a couple of deep balls will keep the safeties back as well the LB on their heals having to now look for the TE releasing off the line or the RB out in the flats or wheel routes. All of those types of offensive scheme will make for better chances at making some good runs.

With all that said the OL needs to come to play, block for Etling and give him enough time. If that happens he will pass for 230 yards and the RB will get the other 200 and if LF or Guice breaks a long one then Bama will be beaten. 400+ yards we win.

LSU defense will hold Bama to 24 points or less. If we play lights out and can get 1-2 turnovers we hold them to 17-20 points. I predict 31-20 LSU

Bama's D won't have the luxury of having 7 guys on the line and 2 linebackers 5 yards back behind the center of the line....actually, I hope they do line up that way...and a spy db on Fournette who's willing to give up his half of the field just to help with run support on Fournette.....if that's Bama's defensive game plan....Etling will pick them apart....I have a funny feeling Saban will not line up the same as they did last year against LSU's predictable offense....

Saban rarely strays from base single hi safety except a spy for occasional DT QB
Just. because you see FS read n react on runs doesn't mean he's stacking the box

Sorry man, we don't have cannon arm Mett and pro bowl WRs to throw to. LSU QBs are also always hammered in that game, and hopefully Etling can at least stay upright til the end.

Its like some of you mfs don't even bother to do research, you just see bama and your vaginas tighten up. Do a little research and you will see that two teams have thrown for 400 yards on bama. Etling gets close to, if not over 300....so yes, a career day. Please, no more pussies in this thread.

It is funny how our experienced qb will be facing something he has never faced, but no mention of their tf qb going into tiger stadium and facing by far the best defense he has ever faced. You pussies are something else. When LSU whips their arse, please stay off the bandwagon, we don't need you.

Good assessment, te's, slants, guice motion out backfield into slot and isolate him on lb or safety and slip screens early takes pressure off etling and opens lanes for running late.

It sure looked good when they did it to LSU once upon a time. It was a quick 3 step drop receivers high points the ball and moved the sticks. Trent had like 4 carries in the first half.

The badger and LSU dbs were at a clear disadvantage. The dline could not get any pressure because the ball was out so quickly.Everything on the side line nothing in the middle of the field. Complete a couple of these bama will have to get help over there.

Use those big wideouts on the roster jazz and dee. They have not seen much of those guys.

I agree their QB is in for a lot of trouble but if both QBs equal each other out, we're in trouble. We cannot line up and run on them. Tried that last year.

We need a true deep ball threat.

Lmao. You have no clue whether he will or won't. He will likely throw more so it is realistic that he will. Also, ark qb lit them up, but only got 3 points against auburn. You trying to say he can't perform as well as the ark qb. You really are clueless. Etling is very smart, very tough, and is actually mobile and accurate on short to medium throws. He is currently graded out as a 4th or 5th round prospect...but he isn't capable of passing on bama...lmao

I'm not downing Etling. But what he grades out as a draft prospect means nothing to him having a 'career' day against Bama's D. Fournette is a true top 5 draft pick. I still wouldn't expect him to have a 'career' day against Bama.

Get out of here! He's not getting drafted that early....if he gets drafted.
