LSU has equal talent, the better overall QB, at home and has the best player in football.

So, I suppose it comes down to coaching.

When Oeaux wins this one, will the victory still be attributed to emotion?

Never understood how "emotion" actually carries any team for months.

Unfortunately I was there also. It was brutal.

He can be blamed for "bringing back the purple shirts" after DiNardo's effort to "Bring Back The Magic". That UAB fiasco was the one game where purple jerseys surely had something to do with an upset loss.

Just know we started the season at #5 with a one deminisonal coach and offense, We upgraded coaching and QB play and saved the season.

Still a miserable troll I see, even after firing les. I wish there was a way to keep guys like you from enjoying the success when we have it because you are such miserable individuals when we aren't having it.

Bama completely dominated the lines of scrimmage against us last year. Don't see us faring much better in the trenches against them this year.

beat Alabama
Well welcome to November. We really have not beaten any good teams. The Florida game would had said something. But chicken shite Florida with their hurt players wanted to wait. A win over Bama would be great for the program and coach O. A loss would state to coach O welcome back to the real SEC. The jury is still out. I am very hopeful for a great November.

I'm sorry but you don't have the best DC college football. I'm not sure he's top 5!

I have rarely posted on this site; although I read these statements everyday for many years. 1st you're listening to your wife when it comes to college football, mistake one; no we don't have to be perfect to beat bama, we simply need to contain the horrible passing QB they have and make him pass, 2 or 3 pics easily, we need to throw the damn ball to open up the run game, and we will be ok

Their freshman QB has already won on the road at Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

Have you watched Florida this year? They are fricking awful. That game yesterday was like watching a cripple fight.

Their "terrible passing QB" is:

129-204
63.2%
1578 yards
7.74 ypa
12 TD
5 INT
142.7 Rating

oh, and he's rushed for 521 yards.

I'll take those horrible stats all day long.

Are we as good as we think we are? by Tiger1988Our defense is pretty good - ranked seventh in scoring. TAMU is 4th FWIW. Our receivers are bigger and so are our dbs. We will lose this game again this year because we will lose the line of scrimmage. It's as simple as that and yeah - we have Steve Ensminger as the OC. Les Miles and RC Slocum clone. We can't beat this team straight up. It will take a few untimely turn overs on their part. That's my take on this...

Yep. Something along the order of 5 missed field goals.

We have a coaching staff now that will have this team mentally and physically prepared. Coach O will make adjustments during the game and at half. That alone gives me hope. The O line concerns me the most. :geauxtigers
