Coach O has Changed!!

How can we be so sure that he has changed so much from his head job at ole piss?
Everyone who is so sure that he has changed are the same ones who are probably saying Kiffin is a total piece of shite that shouldn't get a P5 job because look what he did at Tennessee and USCw.
What makes everyone feel so confident that O is a changed man and has learned from his mistakes when we can't say that it is possible that someone like Kiffin has changed as well?
Another thing is how can we fire the most successful coach in LSU history then say oh what the hell lets hire our dline coach to replace him? If you believe LSU is truly a top 5/top 10 job why should we settle after just a few games? Shouldn't we want the best coach out there not just maintain the status quo (which is what you will get with O), but a coach that will maintain current success and advance the program to greater levels?
This is my first post, although a long time reader, but don't hold back break me in nicely with down votes that are surely coming and ruthless comments because that's what makes tigerdroppings great!

Never thought I'd say this or feel this way, but if we lose to Bama and we're out of the SEC West race, i hope we lose out, so these stupid mfr's actually have to do an actual coaching search.
I for one am not willing(not like i have a choice) to let this LSU program be the proving ground for a failed coach.

We can't.

Who said we are? Most of the posters I read are still in a "wait and see".

That's a lot easier said than done. No matter who the hire, there are no guarantees.

I'm not saying he can't coach for shite. I don't think he would do a bad job just not as confident as others that he can be the next great LSU coach.
The offensive records is definitely a good start in the first three games no doubt and if the current success can be maintained I would feel more confident but can he?
That was were the op question comes in what makes everyone so sure the he is the right choice when it has only been 3 games.
My fear is that everyone including myself was so done with the bland football that we've been seeing the past several years will be content with O because it's is better but is it the best we can get.

nothing. and......with all that talent.........all he has to do is sit back and watch what he recruited shine like a fricking star. no micro managing like les. just sit back and let your oc/dc make it happen.

Coach O describing himself as a changed coach and emphasizing that he has learned much from his time at Ole Miss
Coach O's new philosophy to which he credits Pete Carroll (article states he Carroll played a mentor role for Coach O while at USC)
Coach O is basically a Pete Carroll Jr. He did the same things at USC when he took a hapless Trojan team and turned them into a force.
I think we could find a guy who would be better than Coach O but that's a risk. With Coach O we already know what we're getting and it seems to be pretty dang good.

Well said Charlie. If Les could have gotten himself to realize this, with his likeability and recruiting prowess he could have been an all-time legend in college football imo. That is how big of a goldmine his stubbornness squandered.

That's the point...if miles would have learned how to do this, we wouldn't be having any of these conversations about a coach search...
Eaux is doing nicely, we won't make a decision on a new coach until December @ the earliest...so, why all the hate on the guy when we have no idea what Alleva is doing or thinking...
