So let me get this straight, any coach that makes great halftime adjustments is a great coach, but a coach cannot make halftime adjustments to their career. Got it!

No there certainly is not and that's why this is frustrating to watch.

The rationale behind wanting this guy truly shocks me. It's almost cult like.

I mean he has more than likely learned a lot since ole miss and has become a better coach. It is not by happenstance that he had success at USC and now at LSU.

Someone could argue about the time frame each occurrence happened. I think a person's most recent achievements/failures matter more than when they were just starting out 40 years ago.

I would agree with this if his head coaching experience did not precede his interim experience
