I would say 2007 - 2008...the OT was a damn wild place at that time. I would stay up far too late every night reading this crap during that time period.

The OT is nothing like when I joined in'09 and I lurked for a long time before I finally jumped in. I've heard it was wilder in the real early days, but it was also smaller. ~08-10 was the perfect combination of number of participants and quality/fun posts.

It was a lot more fun back then, it was pretty much anything-goes. I understand they had to crack down on a lot of the frickery since the site is more popular now.
