7-0 last year was a fraud. Our early schedule was very weak, and we all saw what happened in November.

Doesn't know how to move in the pocket. Doesn't step into his throws. And fades back when he throws in a clean pocket thinking his arm strength is good enough. I rather Mcmillion (I think that's his name) or Scott. BH6 needs 5 years under a QB guru to learn. He's done at LSU IMO. I wish him the best of luck but if he wants to see his scholly through at LSU I'd make him a WR. I don't want the 2 incoming QB's to follow him in every drill next year.

Remember the rumors out of Manning Camp that said he couldn't hit a target?? I was 1 of the people that called bs, that nobody tries hard at camp. Hell JFF would rather puke and sleep one off. Those rumors were true. Watch the 1st quarter of Jacksonville St. whenCoach O let the press in at practice didn't one of the 1st things said was how bad BH6 was vs air? I like the kid and defended him so much. Even after Wisky I blamed it on the O-Line. But the fact is he WONT step up in the pocket, throws off his back foot, and isn't accurate enough to play QB at LSU.

I don't think Miles and Cam ran the best plays for Harris to be successful. Etling should be our starter, but I think Harris would do ok with our new offense

As good as Bama's D is and the plays where our Oline let a guy through untouched I will be shocked if Etling finishes the game.

Serious question: has bama knocked a qb out of a game this year?

No clue, but they have two LBs that can do it on any given play.

Makes you wonder why in the hell was he starting? If he terrible vs air he's not going to be better vs a defense on Saturday!

I actually think Brandon would excel in this offense, unfortunately he still lacks the ability to read/check down, I would hope he would learn this so he can have a chance to further his career

Make up your mind...

He's terrible and I hope he never gets a chance again.

Still remember some idiot before season wondering if he'd go into the draft after this season...

Agreed. Plus DE struggled with the old offense. DE threw better out of the spread too.

The previous qb threw into man to man coverage against 9-10 man boxes designed to stop the run. He still overthrew 6'5" receivers costing third down conversions way too many times. I loved the guy and still do. The bottom line is that receivers catch Etlings passes, where for whatever reason (over throws or throws too hard to catch) they didn't with BH passes at critical times.

DE has not had THROWWW much out of our I-formation two receiver set. He's faced fewer tight coverage (9 man box) because we started to limit throwing out of the I-formation. DE has thrown primarily of the spread. BH has thrown mostly out of the I-formation. BOTTHHHH QB have struggled out of that look. The new staff (and to some extent Cam) has decided to throw primarily of the spread.

I'm not talking about who's better. I'm making the point that BH has not played in a system that makes use of what he does. He's been asked to make tough throws out of a bad system (18 yard combacks from hash-to-hash). DE has not been asked to that at all. 2nd half of jacksonville state, when we went back to our I-formation. DE struggled, and threw a pic into dbl coverage. Also had number of over throws.

I like what DE does. I can like DE, and at the same time realize that their are better offenses for BH skill set. UH QB Greg Ward is no great passer. He has been dangerous never the less.
