If he wins out with THIS SCHEDULE, he deserves the job... PERIOD.

No, not period.

He didn't build this staff. He didn't recruit all of these players. He took over a program that was loaded with talent and needed an injection of excitement.

I won't deny winning out makes him a tier 1 candidate, but it doesn't mean he deserves the job outright.

my man.

Ask yourself a question when considering a coach - is this a guy opponents want me to hire or would prefer we don't hire? As a Bama fan, guys I'd prefer LSU didn't hire (note: not saying "scared" b/c that tired narrative is ridiculous...I'm saying would prefer you didn't hire b/c I think they'd do well for you) - Jimbo, Herman, Fedora.

O isn't on that list. I'd actually prefer you hire him.

It's illogical because insert Herman or Fisher and probably a handful of other guys and they would at least be able to match Orgeron's results for this year. It's really not that difficult what has happened. Aranda has the D rolling, and Les is no longer getting in the way of the offensive game plan.

You just described Miles taking over LSU after Saban left.
