I used GMFS on my last house, I was thinking about just going with them again on my new home. Should I shop around a bit? Or is everywhere going to generally be in the same ball park?

I think you are pretty much shopping for interest rate and closing costs no?

I would shop around. Just remember that you sign with might not eventually be who your servicer is.

Tower mortgage group is who employed the loan officer I worked with and they came up with the terms. Huntington Bank is who my mortgage payments go to.

I used a company that used to advertise on Zillow ---> New Penn Financial.

Closing cost were $900.00.

No issues whatsoever. My mortgage has since been sold three or four times. I'm now with (and appear to be for a while) with SunTrust.

Great website, fast payment processing and customer service has been very helpful when called upon.

Freakin' BOA - but my original lender was just in it for the origination fees and shite. I would never choose them voluntarily - although they haven't been too bad.

Freedom Mortgage. They are not to bad except I can't log in to my checking account and pay them like I do most bills. I have to mail a check or log in to their site and pay it there
