Some YES, some NO ---- the Hallman, Dinardo eras say --- "2* All-parish LA recruits" lead to 2 and 3 win seasons at LSU...

Getting and keeping the top in-State talent is not "automatic" Miles absolutely made a difference in that regard -- no arguing that fact.

Its just amazing how much you guys can read into things around here

Where on earth is that anywhere in my OP? Stop making shite up you know nothing about....of course we still kick arse in recruiting. But you have your head in the sand if you don't think Miles did a good job with who we have in our program right now. shite Aranda too...what a hire!

Miles created an evironment that his players loved and it helped with recruiting.
He had Frank Wilson, Cory Raymond, Orgeron and some other excellent recruiters.

Kudos to Miles for closing the deal on many but don't kid yourself, LSU was the drawing card for a lot of those Louisiana kids.

We'll see how well he recruits at his next stop.

Miles was a stupid arse coach who hired some dumbass coaches and put them in some shitty arse positions. Care to name them? Hint: One retread coach is back here.

Yet, there was a want to have a statue for that idiot on this board.

I'm certain at least one player on the team would have been on the team no matter.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Miles wasn't stubborn like a mule... he was stupid like a rock.

And the shite on Miles parade by the idiot chorus continues.

But if that is what it takes to make you feel better about your miserable life, guess it serves a purpose. Babble on.

And if it weren't for Saban, Miles would have been a groundskeeper the last 12 years. Miles inherited a dynasty-in-the-making. He fricked it up!!!

Id like to know the ignorant math youre using to say that the most successful tenure in lsu history is "fricking up a dynasty". You do realize miles inherited a program with 1 top 5 finish in over 2 decades all of 20 top 15 finishes in the history of the program.

No, no I don't.

That said, he was a good recruiter. I'm amazed at how much better our offense looks in his absence, and how quickly the remarkable difference has become apparent. He and Cam must have been atrocious schematic and tactical coaches.

You people that keep bringing Miles' name up in threads need to stop!

It's funny, the only time I ever see any one say Miles' name needs to stop being brought up in threads is when someone is giving the guy a little credit for something. If it's a thread bashing the man, you people flock to it like vultures to roadkill.

Maybe you should post in all the Les Miles hate threads that people need to let it go. For every one positive thread about him, there are easily 3 or more negative threads. Seriously, he's been gone a full month.

Never "dumb as a rock". He was cum laude at Michigan with a degree in Economics. People who say Miles is dumb are simply ignorant.

Can you all just give it a rest, Coiach Miles is gone but, you have to keep going over the same stuff. He was fired and Coach O is doing a great job, the same Coach O that Coach Miles brought in. Oh and the defense is stunning under Coach Aranda, the same Coach Aranda that he brought in along with talent that is almost unparalleled in college football. We all know his faults and he lost a job he loved because of his flaws but, he loves LSU and had a great run. It amazes me how the same fans that hate Les Miles love Sean Payton, one oif the highest paid, most overrated coaches in the NFL who is going for his third straight losing season. Stick with that loser and I'll take LSU and Coach O anyday of the week.

What if I told you that the LSU brand is what recruits these kids. It has nothing to do with Miles.

People are mad at Miles for what could have been....and rightly so to a degree.
We should be riding along 7-0 right now....we're not b/c of ineptitude at the highest levels of our coaching staff. That's frustrating. Time to move on!
