Aranda is not going to be at LSU very long, regardless of who the coach is. He wasn't going to be at LSU long, even if Miles would have stayed.

Yup, I don't see how we keep a guy that good past 2018.

But I'd like to have him until then.

You can't make a HC decision based on an assistant because the assistant may leave to take a HC job and then you're stuck with the HC.

Hire the best HC you can get and try to have him keep Aranda. But ultimately it's up to the new HC.

I hate people that keep bringing up Coach O's Ole piss record, that was a long time ago, and he has clearly learned from his past mistakes. This is our Head Coach! Coach O is the man

name one head coach that doesn't have at least one (and typically) multiple bad losses on his resumé.

The difference with his losses are that they were ranked in the top 5 or 6 priorly.

haven't picked my "favorite" for the job yet. But i can promise you he's probably got at least one of those in his past.

i'd be willing to bet your "favorite" does too.

How 2 in the last 3 weeks?
Looks like the dude isn't mentally tough and can't stay focused. No thanks.

And I don't have a faovrite. Fans only have a peripheral view of a coach....and don't have a clue. So pardon me.....I won't have a favorite. My favorite will be whoever is hired.

Keep Aranda....replace peveto....and I'm happy

I agree, but, I also think LSU will try very hard to keep him. The new LSU HC will try to keep him.

the navy loss isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.
they went 11-2 last year and have a realistic shot at going 11-1 this year (12-1 depending on bowl matchup).

Another line of thought to check the "Keep O" column
