Other RBS are Gurley, Riddick, Ajayi. WRs are stacked so I'm only starting 2 RBs. Any reason to hold onto Eddie. Playoff schedule is pretty rough with Sea Houston and Minn

Who would you be dropping him for?
Posted on 10/20/16 at 9:33 am to Tigereye10005
Gillislee or some other bench depth

not enough known about the injury, it only takes one shitty sunday for that RB depth to go to shite on you and you'll wish you had a serviceable back
riddick has already gotten dusted up and no idea if ajayi is truly the #1 in Miami yet

I would
They are saying Lacy is at that 260 lb mark. He's been ineffective and GB is close to the bottom of the league in rush attempts as it is

And you know he won't be getting any thinner while he's out on a bum ankle. Dude is already a cheeseburger away from being converted to an O-lineman.

This is where I will just completely disagree. He has the exact same ypc as Elliot, but he has half the carries because they refuse to run the ball with him. 5.1 ypc is tied for 6th in the league.

He's been ineffective
Just wasn't going to hold up well with all that weight

Yeah he is a fat frick but wasn't The Bus close to 260 during his playing days?

He's been stuffed at tbe goaline on multiple occasions. Those TDs are the difference in being a good play vs a RB w limited upside
W the volume he gets he's gotta convert TDs and and catch balls and as of now he has 0 TDs and 5 receptions - that's always put Lacy over the top as a top tier option

I dont disagree with that. As a fantasy RB, yes he has been "ineffective".
By NFL standards the Packers just refuse to run the ball enough.

still would you drop him for a rental like gillislee before we know more on his injury?
Posted on 10/20/16 at 10:49 am to BilJ
Idk I'd rather deal in the present - shite we don't know McCoy's injury either, that's a gamble you may want to take if you can get RB1 like production for 2 weeks. Figure the rest out later
they're talking possible IR Lacy so he may be rendered useless any
If Gilleslie is still out there after the news yesterday, it tells me Lacy probably won't be a commodity in this league even when or if he recovers

No gain at the Minnesota 1
Two yards from the Min 4
And one yard from Jax 3.
All not good but you're exaggerating here.
quote:can't blame that all o the Packers, his stamina can't be that good at that weight and Starks has been terrible this year.

Probably. But that's THE BUS we're talking about.
Posted on 10/20/16 at 11:30 am to castorinho
I'm exaggerating no TDs and 5 receptions in 5 games?
Those are just the facts mate. When he was good circa '13 and '14, he's scoring TDs and catches passes. His calling card was GL work, the best in the league actually. Last two years, no beuno. Also coincided with his poor conditioning
Sometimes you can just keep hoping things will get better I.E. Brees being good on road, Rodgers/Cobb/ Lacy being good again etc - but we might need to accept that this is who they've become
