Just want to get some contacts to use sometimes when I want to wear sunglasses or driving. What's the cheapest way to get some for astigmatism? 1800contacts? Or should I go to Walmart or something.

They are about the same everywhere I have seen. You may get a better deal at Sam`s because you get more in a pack.
I have purchased mine on Lens.com. I haven`t found any less than $40 something a box.

Walgreen's usually offers a 20% off coupon for lens orders, which puts them at about the same price as Costco for a 6 month supply. I pay $98 for a 6 month supply of Biofinity Toric (astigmatism) lenses.

It would be cheaper in the long run to just get a nice pair of prescription sunglasses. With my eye allergy issues, they really are some of the best money I have ever spent.

You could always just quit being a pussy and squint like a man. It's free.

No, it's the same sized pack as everywhere else. The only way to really get a deal on toric lenses is to buy a year supply upfront.

Thanks for the answers.
Was considering getting prescription sunglasses, figured contacts might have more use for me

I do both.
My astigmatism caused me to need vision correction in middle school. I went straight into contacts once I needed more than something to see the board in class. Frankly, I've never cared for how I look in glasses.
About five years ago I started developing a lot of discomfort and inflammation during allergy season. I ended up getting a good set of Ray-Ban prescription sunglasses, and they are now my go-to pair whenever I'm working outdoors.
I've had the same pair for 3 years now. That's why it would be much cheaper to get a pair if you don't already regularly wear contacts now.

You should probably go see a priest if you have a stigmataism

Coastal and other inline places have been consistently cheaper with cash back like ebates and coupons

The thing is my vision gets about 4x worse each year. So I always have to go with short term supplies. My glasses from 3 years ago are barely usable anymore.

Fair point, then yea you may want to try contacts.
