I've got about thirty cinder blocks I need to get rid of. Does anyone know how I do this in Baton Rouge? I imagine some companies recycle/use these?

Put them in a garbage bag and haul them out to the curb.

Find someone who needs to reduce some erosion

Set by the street and the city will pick up. If you stack them nicely someone else will pick them up. Plenty of people can use them.

throw them in a body of water. The fish and other critters will be pleased and nobody will ever know.

Tie a dead body to them and throw them in the swamp

Except the first guy to find them with the hull of his boat.

Stack them in a single row, and alternate the position of the open spaces when you do this.
Bam, you got a wall.

I wonder if this has ever been done in Louisiana.
Also slice open the abdomen so the gases can escape.
doesn't have to be COMPLETELY dead does it?

Check out a place called "Freecycle." It's exactly what you are looking for.

30 of them is probably the perfect amount to make one of these

Put it in your curb with a big "free" sign next to it.
Should be gone in a few hours.
