Honestly it's a pretty good strategy for the perps. Those purses are $500-$2,000 a pop and are in stores that are staffed by older women.
Plus there is an easy resale value since there is a high demand and people want the real thing at a discount.

Something like that happened in Mobile and it seems the perps took the purses apart and used the material to cover Air Force 1 sneakers. Everybody wanted those Gucci AF1's.

I would have stole those purses too. Did you see how the store clerks were staring at only one race in the store? How would you feel if people watched you while you shopped? This group was labelled thieves by the employees right when they walked in the door.

Should every department store have some sort of alarm to press? Idk the proper procedures here.. glad no one was physical harmed. That was awful.
