I don't get why they don't play earthquake during the game. That one fires me up at least as much as neck did and I think there's way less room in it for a STTDB chant.

I wish our current students weren't so childish. We could really bring back some energy with the old songs. Bad thing is if LSU tries it these little kids in the student section will have their "look at how cool I am" moment & scream Dick & bitch. Then the song will be gone for another few years or forever. Why are we having this problem with our students? We used to have the best student section in the land. They would show up early, stay late, and stay loud & involved.

So, I mentioned this in a thread the other day. I was listening to Dallas' The Fan 105.3 the other day and they were discussing the LSU job opening. The specifically mentioned the "Suck that Tiger Dick,bitch" chant. LSU fans think it's cute while the rest of the nation sees trash.
How can our fan base reject Briles, Kiffen or Petrino based on ethics when we yell crap like STTDB around children? Anyone who thinks the STTDB is cool is a fricking moron.

Yes, they did during their lunch time show. It was either Tuesday or Wednesday. I even told my wife about when I got home. On a side note, why would I make up something that off the wall? I couldn't believe it when I heard them mention it.

Just how long do some of you think this "tradition" goes back? 2011? 2007?
You know all those quotes from opposing players and coaches they plaster all over the place talking about how intimidating Tiger Stadium was/is? Yep...nearly all of them were said, and the aura of Death Valley, existed not only long before Tiger Band starting playing Neck, but long before Cameo wrote the original song.
For frick's sake...since when did LSU fans need a damned Cameo song to get loud in Tiger Stadium?
This isn't a tradition...it was a fad that was hot for a while, got ruined and now needs to be let go, since it seems the vast majority who want to bring it back refuse to understand the WHY it was stopped in the first place.
Not to mention...if EVERYONE is playing it, maybe now's the time to recognize we don't want to be like everyone else. What's next...the Imperial March from Star Wars?
