Honestly, and this is pure fanboy speculation, I don't see how ANY coach (not named Meyer and Saban) wouldn't want to come to LSU. Money, recruiting, home-field advantage, SEC, chance to beat Saban every year. I just think it's a no-brainer.
I'm not really against anyone on the list but this is the order I put that list in:
Herman
Jimbo
Patterson
Petrino
If Petrino didn't have a Santa Clause sack of baggage, I would put him 2nd.

Don't forget about the sack of cash to buyout Petrino - $10M. After paying Miles' buyout, LSU would be in for $20M before paying Petrino an actual dollar of salary. It's just not going to happen.
When Petrino was negotiating terms for his contract, he originally agreed to a $50M buyout. That dude is not going anywhere.
