Have to say, I'm impressed with BeBe

1)I like that he is going to run a fast pace practice. This gets more reps in a shorter time. It's something the great coaches believe in. No walking, running to every station, do everything full speed as you would in the game. It becomes natural.
2) I like that he is going to practice less and study more. This is straight out Bill Walsh, Steve Spurrier, Pete Carol, play book.
3)I like that he's going to let the coaches coach but make them accountable.
4) Being receptive to the media. I believe this is how you promote your program.
Now, he may stink it up. Just very impressed on how he's changed from his Ole Miss days.

Well he coached under Jimmy Johnson at Miami and Pete Carroll at USC. I think he knows his stuff
People don't realize how great of a coach he could become here. So much potential.

And he's fully owned the "rookie" mistakes he made at OM; he's better for it.

He admitted in his press conference on Monday that he tried to micromanage too much, and got involved with areas of football where he wasn't very knowledgeable.

that's great, but let him prove it as head coach at a lower school and then if he succeeds, he'll move up to a bigger program.
It's simply too big of a risk to let a guy who went 3-21 in the SEC take over our program.
And I love Coach O as much as anybody and would love for him to stay on staff after the new HC comes in.

I totally agree. I watched the job he did at USC after taking over when Kiffin was fired. I said it then that he obviously learned a lot and matured from his time at Ole Miss. Too early to tell, but all the ingredients are in place for a totally different team to show up on Saturday (same as USC was a totally different team once he took over). Like the OP, I too think some of the changes bode well for the future.

And this is not his first rodeo! Geaux Coach O

More like a zero tolerance coach. Coach O is a boss

People need to embrace Bebe and enjoy. He isn't the same coach ole miss had

How do you know that?
Brother in law is an alumni and heavy hitter at Ol Piss.....as is his entire family. They've given me the entire rundown of O's faults while he was there (whether I wanted to hear or not) ad nauseum. I'm not just speaking out of my azz.

He did all of this except #3 while at Ole Miss.

I'm going to hold my anointing oil at this point until he wins a game. I want to see the product on the field and see just how Miles and Cam were mailing it in.

People keep focusing on Ole Miss. He took over as interim coach at USC 3 years ago and they didn't want him at the end of the year.
Reading USC boards, there are rumors he trashed Hayden's office when he got passed over for Sark. Anyone know anything about that?
