We tried to get seats there...all were full when we were there in July.

We did do Kikunoi, l'effervesence, and Sushi Bar Yasuda...all were outstanding but the 2 star l'effervesence stood out even above the 3 star Kikunoi. It was only behind Eleven Madison for best meal of our lives...and we have recently been to number one restaurant in the world, Osteria francescana

This post was so over the top, it flew by brag at light speed and topped out at just plain awesome. Seriously, I'm jealous of your food experiences.

The lady and I are considering Eleven Madison in November. What made it so exceptional compared to other tasting menus?
