I have Sitka duck oven jacket and I've been happy with it.
However, I wear my Kuiu shell, down jacket, pants, and pullover almost exclusively now. Camo pattern(s) are about #9 on things I care about when buying though. I hunted in a brown McAlister jacket for 15 years before upgrading.

Anybody ever use the Under Armour infrared cold gear?

I agree with the drake being junk. I had the early season pants on and got soaked. The only thing they are good for is a damp seat in the blind. What ever happen to the cheap sale mart stuff working like it said it would? You could get a good slicker suit for $50 and actually stay dry.

Which Kuiu pants do you have? I need a windproof/waterproof pair of pants for winter fishing and to wear under waders. I was just reading about the Attack pants. Seems like they may fit that bill.

Sitka makes top notch camo with patterns way better than a lot of brands. Expensive though, I also love asat and predator camo, which is what I wear.

At first I didn't like the look of the Camo pattern on Sitka but then I seen it in the field in comparison to max 4 and there is a huge difference. From then on the pattern has grown on me.

Had a buddy wear all Sitka gear when he and his dad went bear hunting in Alaska about 3-4 years ago. Said he froze his arse off.
Dad did shoot huge brown bear with a bow though. All that matters, right?

I just want the wading jacket. The gore Tex would be a welcomed addition to my life after using drake for so long

at you for actually believing that

I have almost everything drake makes including their jackets. I've never got wet with my parka but there is 2 layers to it. Needless to say I was let down last weekend with the pants. I'm just glad it wasn't 30 degrees outside

The attack pants are what I wear under waders but they're not waterproof only water resistant. I've spent many an hour on damp ground glossing without a wet arse. I went with Teton rain pants and what's now called the Chugach jacket for my actual "rain gear."
I actually called them last year just seeking advice for my needs and got to talk to owner directly. Told him I duck hunted predominantly with a 4-6 day pack in pack out elk and bear hunt once a year and that's what he recommended to me.

Bought a Sitka gaiter for when it gets really cold during duck season and I love it. Their jackets are awesome but I just can't see myself spending that much on hunting clothes. I already think spending as much as I do on Drake is way too much. My SO got me a Sitka backpack for my birthday and it's great. Perfect weight. Use it for duck game bag, deer hunting, and hiking. Highly reccomend the Flash back.
