Previous thread about big football games and the amount of delays / commercials got me thinking about this. Just guessing it would have to be early 1980's??? Maybe a game in Curley Hallman era?

LSUSports.net says the 2005 Appalachian State game wasn't televised, not sure if that's accurate

2005 Season

As you begin to go backwards from 2005, you see several of the small OOC home games weren't on. 3 in 2003, 1 in 2002, etc.

In 1994, only 3 games were televised, 2 of them JP

That's not accurate I'm pretty sure it was moved to espn news. Nevermind I was thinking of 08 App state game.

Lsusports.net is not accurate a lot of times.

If you look at the 1998 season, there are several kickoff times that are wrong.

Crazy how far we have come within the last 5-10 years. I couldnt imagine not havibg some LSU games not televised anymore. Those werr rough times, I remember alot of nights sitting under the porch as a kid with my dad blaring Hawthorne, because there was no TV. Some great memories though!!

I know the infamous 2000 loss to UAB wasn't televised, nor was the same year's beatdown of Western Carolina, aka as The Hottest Game in History.

I don't believe these TV broadcast indications to be wholly accurate. I remember seeing the Middle Tennessee game in 2001 and the Louisiana Tech game in 2003 on television.

2004 Arkansas State was stream video only via LSUSports.net. There were THREE cameras. My my, how far we have come.

Pretty sure this is correct. Got tickets late and LSU won something like 26-0 over the eventual FCS National champion that season.
