Kevin Tolliver does not impress so far

I thought this kid was going to be a lock down corner. So far he looks out of it every time the ball is thrown his way. His ball skills are not good. Has trouble locating the ball and making a play on it. Anybody else concerned about him? I though Paris looked better. Still gave up completions, but the receivers just made good plays.

He is in the hip pocket just poor techique.....
Teachable but I know Savion, Fulton and company are itching to get a shot at that spot.
Also, Donte must have been in doghouse 1st half.

this is true, or at least this week it was
he was in position, but never located the ball
kinda funny how last game everyone was ready to bench Donte and now everyone is piling on KT

it's hard to look for the ball when you never turn your head around. This is easily coachable. When the WR's eyes look up for the ball, turn your head and look for it too. There were at least 3 back shoulder throws that he could have easily picked off had he just turned his head around.

I've noticed it all year. Good position until the ball is in the air.

DT13 needs to be replaced by a frosh that understands the scheme

he may be having confidence issues but he can definitely cover. he has freakish size and long arms for a corner. Let him get a pick or 2 and I bet he becomes a beast

I thought the same. His main issue is not turning and finding the ball. I think this is the most difficult skill to develop for a DB. But it takes experience and confidence. He has the speed and natural skill to do this, he just needs to learn to run with his head on a swivel. He's on his guy every time, just isn't anticipating and reacting to the ball when it gets there.

I think he just has to get that head turned around quicker. He'd have 2 picks in that msu game if he had done that. I'm not concerned about kt2, it's donte Jackson in a little concerned about. He takes bad angles alot. All this is coachable tho.

He wiffed on some tackles too. Looks unconfident to me.

That sounds easy but is a helluva lot harder to do when you are running full speed to catch up to the recorder.
As he continues to become more familiar and comfortable with route recognition, he will be able to take the next step and locate the ball.
Look, he is only a Sophmore...still 2.5 years left in his development.

I was worried about this when he missed spring. He is really good cover guy until it is time to play the ball. He needs the game to slow down for him.

The few errors he had will be corrected in practice. He just needs to turn and look for the ball. He had great coverage all game long. If he would have turned around he could have intercepted at least two passes. I hope the opposing teams try to go after Tolliver because he will make them pay.

on the deep ball he always seems to be twisted around and can never get his head around to look at the ball. concerns me very much.
I know Ed Paris let a big catch happen on him but I liked the fact he was in position and had his head turned. He was just out battled.

Well, if it takes time to learn it, it seems like we might need to give some other guys a shot until he learns. We're going to be playing teams who will start to exploit him soon. He is our weak link in the secondary, in my opinion.

I'm so sick of you pussies. It's normal for a player to have a bad game damn. Last weak it was D jack who played a hell of a game this week. Tolliver has been solid since he's been at LSU. Next week if tre gives up a reception he falls to the 5th round in the draft. Receivers will catch the ball sometimes get over it.

I'm not at all worried. KT looked good to me. So did Paris in brief action. We're not playing the Washington Generals. The other team has players too.

Look, man, I'm not trying to dogpile on the kid. Calm down, Nancy. He plays the ball poorly. It's not just one game. Go back and look. I'm sorry you're offended.
