Tre white has been a beast this year

I agree TW is playing his arse off aka Pat P. style.

Bower got good pressure on the QB two plays in a row when they were pinned back in their end zone (the plays where the announcers were shocked that State was throwing).
Rickey Jeff looked good too

KT gotta learn when to get his head around. They caught 3 or 4 passes over the top of him and he had his back to the ball when it got there.
Agreed. I think he's going to be damn good once he gets more experience. He looks pretty fluid and quick. Once he gets a better feel for looking for the ball, he will be in a position to make some picks/plays.

It might be time to let Fulton or Smith have a shot at that CB spot. Although it appears Paris next up after KT2.

Thought OL as a whole played much better than thought they would. Outside of MT at right tackle it was a plus. How the staff thought he could pass block from the tackle position is beyond me
Etling looked good, love the check downs or run when it's not there.
DL was good, rotated bunch of guys.
Playcalling outside of the reverses were light years better.
Adams was very good. Secondary ok but KT2 and 13 were not. Like to see more of Paris and anyone but 13. Know Paris had the pass against but at least turned his head around to make a play on the ball.

Guice on the drive where he took 1st and 2nd showed some real burst. Needs to play more IMO.
Etling - took care of the ball and made some MVP style plays. We lose without him
Not Fumbly LF7 had some great runs. Almost a 3rd TD had he not left his shoelace untucked.
Aranda - Defense isn't perfect yet, but I really like where it's heading. Once he gets his DB's locked down, I think we'll be dominant.
If anyone can get a hold of Toliver, tel him to smack less and focus more. Guy got worked over a couple of times.

O line played wonderful outside the play from Poicic at tackle.

Hasn't had anyone that could throw to him.

The shuffling along the O-line was mad yesterday with the injuries. Boutte starts, goes down, MT comes in at guard. Alright, no problem. Then Weathersby goes down and Boutte goes back to RG, and MT shuffles to RT. Then Malone goes down, so mid series we shuffle our center to LT, and bring in Dodd. Luckily Clapp never missed a play at LG with his injury. Brumfield also came in at RG when MT's helmet came off.
I'm not feeling the need for starting a new thread but what's the story with Chidi Okeke-Valentine? Injured still or not ready to play?

I wouldn't put Fournette in the good category because of the two costly fumbles. Guice should have been put in after first fumble, and Fournette should have had to think about it. I will probably get criticized for saying this - but I didn't care for Fournette losing his cool after every play. Miss State were being little thugs and trying to get cheap shots, that's true. But I think it would have had more impact if Fournette smirked at them, and laughed at them rather than losing his cool and letting them know they were getting to him.
I thought Jamal Adams also had a good game. Kudos also to our backup TE that had a completion (somebody tell me his name).

What sucks for Fournette is that now it looks like MSU players were getting in his head and he fumbled twice. It will only get worse now IMO

Agreed - this is exactly what I'm thinking. They know Fournette can be rattled and these other SEC teams will go at him even harder.

Fournette will not fumble twice in a game again.

When you don't hear a DBs' name he had a good game and again Tre White had another one

Jamal Adams is a stud. He played great.
Key was a differmece maker, esp when we needed him most.
The punter was much improved.

Maybe the coaches were right and the rant was wrong about leaving Pocic at center.

Foster Moreau. Second year out of Jesuit. We took him as an afterthought because we couldn't fill our class. Good kid. Helped his dad assemble office furniture for us. Said he was going for workman's comp over a papercut he suffered (joking of course).

Sure wish TV could be on the DL for more snaps. He usually blows up whoever is blocking him one-on-one. When he is in he just gets that push. I guess he is limited now because he needs to get in better shape but i'm hoping in another game or two he will be a monster.

State did a good job keeping #8 away from White. That's good coaching by Mullen. He had his best against our sixth best for much of the night.
