Why do "fans" feel the need to make more out of stuff than needed.
Why do they feel the need to turn on players and have such hatred. When I saw the memes, created by LSU fans, trashing Harris.. I was pretty disappointed.

"Hatred" is a word that's thrown around way too much. Fans love our players, but this is elite college football and if a guy isn't producing, he's got to be benched.
And when a high profile guy like a QB shows certain immature behavior when things don't go his way, well, he opens himself up to criticism. He knows he lives in a fishbowl, so every action, tweet, etc. is going to be news. Harris knows that, and knew it when he voluntarily signed a scholarship with LSU.
Being critical of his on-field production and off-field immaturity isn't "hating."
