Hell the most unsafe I've ever felt I suppose was late at night in an area of Ruston of all places.

East Ruston out by the airport can get pretty scary. You couldn't pay me to stop at that gas station on the corner of Farmerville and MLK.

Not too mention to the west of Ruston is Grambling. Guess their pop. is too low for this list. Screw that place.

Every square inch of Pitkin, Louisiana is dangerous. There isn't a spot in Pitkin Louisiana that you can be safe from getting your head knocked off. Guess Pitkin, Louisiana is under 2,500 in population.

Give me a break. We raised our three children in Pitkin and loved it there. Yes, there are a few crazies, but there are crazies everywhere. My guess is you're a disgruntled fan from one of those schools the Pitkin teams used to dismantle in the late 90's/early 2000's. (Yes, I'm aware that PHS sports has suffered a serious downturn since that time, but those "golden years" sure were fun to watch. Baseball, girls and boys basketball - they were all deep and talented.

at being scared in Ruston or Grambling. The black areas there are all country folk. Poor but not dangerous.

I never felt unsafe in Alexandria or natchitoches

Me neither, but I am guessing you and I both know where not to be. I can take you to places in Ellic at night, where I assure you, you should not feel safe

Same in Natchitoches. Natchitoches is pretty safe except for one part of town once the sun goes down. Only way you will end up there is if you really want to be there.

None of the Shreveport TV stations will share this information. There mission purposes all include making Shreveport appear to be the most unsafe place in the country.

As far as the list goes, where's Ferriday?

Winbourne Ave in BR, I wouldn't consider driving down during the day time.

I live in monroe now but was born and raised in Bastrop. Lived there for 25 years. Clearly some of you people have no clue. You make an assumption on just driving through or what you hear. But to say it's one of the 12 most dangerous places in Louisiana is absurd.
