I'm gonna beat this drum until I collapse from exhaustion.

Start him. We will win, and the fan base won't abandon the program.

You could start Russel Wilson on Saturday and he would difficulty throwing in this offense

Good luck with that dream! Would be a great game to help develop the passing game. That won't happen either.

no he wouldn't. russell wilson is a very accurate passer and a very good runner.

he makes smart decisions and can process information very quickly.

When will you fools realize, the problem will not be solved by starting yet another QB. The issue is Miles and his putrid Offense. Joe Montana himself could not run this offense the way Miles wants. This O is a QB killer!

He wasn't very good at Purdue. He got benched, never won back his starters job so he transferred. But we've got the coaches at LSU to take a QB who isn't good and get him to step up his game. A proven history of QB development.

I'm not arguing with you about the offense being shite. But let's just think about Saturday.

Start Etling.

I thought Etling lost his job at Purdue after getting injured, then not getting it back. He looked ok there, but their O line was worse than LSU. He was running for his life.

I agree that Mikes and Cam have ruined Harris to the point that I don't think he can recover.

I also agree that we should give Etling the next 2 games to see what he can do.

The problem is that it is still the same 2 idiots calling the same idiotic plays. And with a new QB they are likely to be even more vanilla.

Bottom line: as long as Mes and Cam are employed no LSU QB will be successful. And before anyone chimes in, Metts senior season was an outlier.

Why? You do realize that doing that may lose the team who know the O is shite? If he sucks too, then all faith in Miles would be lost by the team and you know how bad they can look when that happens.

Etling won't start Saturday, but will get a few minutes of Perriloux-type mop up time at the end of the game.

Barring a Harris injury, you won't see Etling starting this season.

That arrogant and stubborn mule that is Les Miles is not going to change a damn thing. He is going to prove to us that he is right, by God!
