What type of offense would you really like?
I'm sure most people in here would say some type of spread attack. I actually think that a run based offense suits LSU very well, because we will always have good running backs. I would love to see same offense that Peyton used in indy forever .quarterback under Center. One back. Two receivers. And a stud tight end. Work the one back Zone play with a guy like Leonard and punish people on play-action who tried to commit to the Box. Simple but effective. I know LSU fans are hungry for all the bells and whistles of those crazy offenses today, but wouldn't we be better served running the ball and just having a solid passing game to back that up

Competent. Well run. Well executed. Well blocked.

Aggressive with a little imagination

I want one that works... I don't make gobs of money to know, nor am I Les' friend, so I don't have the answers...

Stanford runs a downhill, pro-style offense, and does it extremely well.
LSU's offense is power toss, fly route, and 10 yard curl route. Literally anything would be better than this.

I don't care as long as it's balanced.
How about an offense that does not include the toss dive. Or maybe an offense that could exploit a mismatch. This current offense might as well be the triple option.

Spread em out, simple get 9 men out of the box, because every team plays us the same. Load the box play man coverage on the outside and make Harris or Fournette beat you. Thats it. Easiest offense in the nation to gameplan for

I'm not picky. Long as it is near unstoppable and productive, and uses all our offensive weapons effectively.

A one that scores touchdowns.

Don't expect LF to do it all alone

How about an offense that looks prepared to exploit the opponent's weaknesses. Every week the offense looks the same regardless of the opponent. That is exactly why Wisconsin beat us. They looked at last year's film and knew it wouldn't change.

Either a balanced pro style like fishers offense or power spread like hermans

I would take one that can get a play in on time right now. Is that too much to ask?

On second thought, how about any offense other than CLM's.

I don't care much which KIND of offense we run.
Let's just be affective. Or offense looks foolish trying to throw the ball. We look foolish coming out of a time out. We look foolish waiting for a play to be called.
Let's have an offense that doesn't look foolish. With the D we put on the field most years we only need an offense that's half decent. We can't even sniff half decent. Special teams used to keep us in games, but lately it's been down.
