You realize that was the 1960s compared to the 2010s. The "technology and stuff" is a little more advanced these days.

You do realize that SpaceX is not NASA, and that the only way to learn how to prevent these things is for them to happen, examine the data, and not make the same mistakes again or take steps to protect against them, don't you? If these rockets keep blowing up for the exact same reason then that is a problem, but if it is for new reasons each time that is called growing pains.
