I'm thinking of taking Evans in the 2nd just strictly based off his playoff schedule. He has 2 games against the saints and 1 against the Cowboys. I have Antonio brown in the 1st already. Too early for Evans?

Draft starts in 2 hours. Evans would be the 24rh pick

Wouldn't draft anyone based strictly on their playoff schedule....you have to get there first.

I got him in the 3rd of a 10 man league. In a 12 man league, depending on who is there, I'd absolutely take him in the 2nd. 24th pick? If he happens to be there, yes. I don't think he'll be there personally.

I've never missed the playoffs and don't plan on starting now, and it's not like Evans is a slouch anyway.

Guys like Allen, Cooks and Landry are going late 2nd in some drafts. If you like him better than those guys, take him.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback fellas. If for some ungodly reason Brandon Marshall falls to me I'm taking him but I think Evans is my backup plan

If you don't take him in the 2nd, someone else will. I don't think he lasts until your pick though.

I have not seen Evans available much late second especially after that preseason game.

I picked 2nd in a 12 team PPR, and I got ODB, Brandon Marshall, and Mike Evans with my first 3 picks.

And I actually had to think about BMarsh for a second, not a fan of taking old WRs that high.

Yes, if Evans is the best player, especially if its PPR, take him.

Yea I highly doubt he is there at pick 24. Standard and PPR he's gone around pick 17.

Evans likely won't make it to you in the 2nd FWIW

So you've been playing for 2 years with 12 year olds?

Bro if you are the 'make the playoffs every year' elite type of fantasy player, what are you doing asking for advice you should be offering others advice not vice versa.

Dropped 15 pounds in the offseason. Top 10 WR this year.

You take him.

My second round pick in a 12 team was 18. He was available but wound up taking Alshon over him. Mainly because I had Evans last year and his drops drove me insane.

Regardless, you can't go wrong with Evans, Alshon, Allen or Bmarsh in the 2nd. Especially if it's PPR.

Hindsight I would have taken Evans over Alshon but I did wind up trading Alshon and Ertz for Julio so it worked out.
