Define conservative.

If by that you mean running a lot it could be that we have a Heisman contending running back and the ground game is working against an inferior defense.

This is the Les Miles mind-set that got him in trouble last year (and year before, etc). He (Les) has this mentality that he can flash on the jumbo tron, "hand-off to LF left side" so he can get his jollies watching the O-line vs the D-line. Les MUST understand that philosophy will not work against Alabama, etc.
Think about this...If Alabama's defence lined up against the Minnesota Vikings with Adrian Peterson and, Alabama knew Minnesota was going to run the ball every down, Alabama would stop Adrian Peterson. This is why we need more variety Passing routes) and be less predictable on offense. Do you agree?

This. If we are getting 12 yards per carry because Wisconsin bet the farm on stopping the pass or simply cannot stop the run. Why on Earth would be pass?
