If only there was an entire board devoted to food and drink...

But to answer your question, it's on shelves now.

It was in Winn Dixie two days ago. It wasn't bad but had a shitty aftertaste.

Flavor was influenced by Les Miles' offense

Like all their beer. I've tried the Juke Joint, Voodoo Bengal and All Day IPA, weird metallic aftertaste in all of them.

Got it last night at Colandros, first time I've seen it. Tastes great it's a lager and tastes very similar to a Yuengling.

I find that most of their beers taste like this.

Yeah, it's pretty slinky aftertaste. I haven't like anything they brewed. But Louisiana doesn't have many good breweries. Nola is solid and Bayou Teche (sp?) is really good. The rest I've tried, I thought were shitty. Mostly because of the aftertaste. Louisiana does not have very good water.

Yeah....no.

Baton Rouge has the best drinking water in the country.

Br water is not good for brewing. Tons of bicarb and other makeup that's above my head. Lighter beers are not good without adjustment of the water profile.

But I'm sure tin roof is using ro water with mineral additions now. When they first started, it was straight water. The new brew master manipulates the water for sure. I just don't know if it's ro or straight water with additions.

Southern Craft (newish BR brewery) is solid. I really wish that Tin Roof hadn't gotten the contract for the LSU Beer. Pretty much any other decently sized Louisiana brewery could have done a solid job. Parade Ground Porter is their only decent beer in my opinion. The Blonde is okay but anywhere you find it there are 5 better blonde ales.
