I explained my reasoning. Games become more/less important as the season goes on and more games are played. No one knew Ole Miss/Arky would be so important in 2015 at the beginning of the year, but it became more anticipated.
I get that you're trying to be cute and outclever everyone, but Bama/LSU will feature at least 1 title contender and 1 last decent bet at an upset at the very least. Both teams don't have a matchup with a preseason top 25 after they meet. I'm sure that will change, but you are talking today what are you most excited to see based on what we know heading into the season.

I'm trying to be cute and clever bc I am more excited about a game I know will matter in week 1 as opposed to a game that may not matter come November. I left OSU/mich off the list too while I could say the same thing

1. LSU/Bama
2. FSU/Clemson
3. Oregon/Stanford
1&2 are pretty standard, winner of each goes to the playoff. 3 because the last few years the lower ranked team has thrown a wrench into the other teams schedule. Oregon probably drops one before they meet but the game is in Eugene and I'm not buying the Washington hype this year so I think this decides the Pac 12 North.
I think one of Michigan or OSU will lose to Michigan State so The Game won't be as huge but still probably my #4 pick.

As an LSU diehard, LSU - Wisconsin and LSU - Alabama top my list. But just because of the venue, I'm interested in how the Tenn - Va Tech game plays out. It's a novelty game but damn...150,000+ at a college football game at a NASCAR track !!!

Ohio st vs Oklahoma
Alabama vs usc
An argument could be made that those are the 4 greatest college programs of all time.
Throw in Texas vs nd and you have 6 of the 8 best all time programs playing each other (I'd put Nebraska and Michigan ahead of Texas)

I'll go off the beaten path a bit on one of these.
1. Bama/LSU
2. Ohio State/Michigan
3. Tennessee/Alabama
That Tennessee/Bama game has a chance to be extremely fun to watch with Tennessee being at home and Dobbs athleticism at QB..Mobile quarterbacks have had the most success against the Tide in the past decade. Dobbs could pull the upset if he's escaping sacks and turning them into gains.
