there seems to be two storm tracking threads...we need to settle on one...thoughts?

Well, this one is supposed to be a general tracking thread and the other is just for TD9, right?

If not, I'm mistaken and this one should be anchored.

This one is for random post on systems that don't look to impact the Gulf or that are way off in model land and the other is for the Gulf system. Obviously, I'll defer to your judgement.

Maybe rename the two threads to clear up any confusion, but I don't have any suggestions because they both are accurate. Maybe if TD9 gets upgraded to a Tropical Storm & gets a name that will help differentiate the two.

this is the general one while we've been splitting off to other threads as relevant storms pop up.
