Not in favor of them aesthetically but would get used to it pretty quickly and it would be NBD.

Looks like shite. Takes away the value of the jersey.

Is an Argentina Visa better or worse than a US version?
Posted on 8/11/16 at 1:28 pm to MJackson
makes the jersey confusing
Are they the Argentina Visa?

Not a fan. They won't look as good as soccer jerseys and at least in soccer you don't have ad breaks. This is gonna be an overkill of advertisements for me but NBA wants more money so I don't blame them

A little patch is one thing, but what's the point of buying a jersey where the sponsor's name dominates like that?

Ultimately I don't care about it, because the NBA is going to do what they want to do. But if I did care, I would not want them to look like the uni's in the overseas leagues with all the adverts all over the jersey and little to no team reference on them.
Basically the WNBA jersey's.

Yeah but we tolerate that because there aren't commercials during either half of soccer games. The NBA has 30 seconds of play time then two minutes of commercials.

ETA: And if an ad on a jersey is what keeps you from watching, then that's just silly.

I dont care anymore. All of these teams/leagues are going to do everything they can to make a dollar anyway they can do it.
Im not buying any jersey ad or no ad so they can do whatever they want

completely different than soccer jerseys, do a little research
in soccer, logo is small and on top left breast, no numbers or team names on front. and sponsor is in top center of jersey, nothing under it, and rarely on top of it.
that has name of team, then below, a number, then the sponsor, what an abortion

I'll never by an NBA or NFL jersey that has advertisements plastered all over it and neither will thousands of others. So they'll lose a shite ton of money, as they sell those jerseys for $100-200 a pop.

Are you factoring in the sponsorship money into your analysis?

Really think this advertising on the jersey deal is overblown. It's not a big deal at all.

I haven't watched an NBA game outside of the Finals since 2012.
