Superstar QB worth in free market

Let's say the NFL scrapped the salary cap all together, how much money would a top star like Rodgers,Brady,Breez,Cam,etc command? 30m?40m? Or even more
PED Punishment

Would you be in favor of contracts being able to be voided if the players tests positive and upon appeal is confirmed that it wasn't a false positive.
I feel like this would instantly curb PED use in MLB

Mark McGwire is coaching
Barry bonds is coaching
Alex is one of the greatest and extremely baseball smart, I'd want him to teach my younger guys

If you go by WAR he was one of the few guys to be worth their free agent contract, I'm taking the 10-252 m deal he signed
re: Why don't NFL qb's ever hold out?
Posted by BernardCastle on 8/12/16 at 4:20 pm to wildtigercat93
IIRC Andy Dalton is already out of true gtd money and Wilson will be after this season as well. If I were them I would tell the team to gtee future years or I hold out
Why don't NFL qb's ever hold out?
Posted by BernardCastle on 8/12/16 at 4:08 pm
We've seen guys like Kam Chancellor, DeAndre Hopkins, Revis and plenty of guys before them hold out and true vast majority don't get anywhere because they don't have that much leverage/ impact on the teams chances.
Now star qb's are the face of the franchise and are the determining factor between success and failure most of the time ie. Indy Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers. If Aaron Rodgers held out in order to renegotiate and up his AAV or get the rest of his contract guaranteed after the gtd money had ran out, the packers would be forced to give in. They would suck without him and fans would be pissed off at management for not taking care of their players. Star Qb's are the one position where if players exerted enough pressure they could get gtd contracts or the vast majority of it gtd but they never seem to put that kind of pressure on their teams

Grayson Allen was 10-13 for 133 and had one bad throw so is Brees a system qb?

Also MLB is making a killing off MLBAM and now they partnered with NHL and sold 1/3 of BAMtech for $1 billion. Sure nationally the ratings aren't great but if the Cubs make it to the World Series , ratings will be absurd

I think they were talking about Donaldson being top 3 at the moment not going forward. Similar to Miggy Cabrera at the moment

Damn that's a stark contrast! One of the reasons why I was skeptical about any team who would have given up significant assets at the deadline for CarGo if they had dealt him
re: Which athletes did you use to hate, but now like?
Posted by BernardCastle on 8/11/16 at 1:43 pm to trom83
Tony Romo, used to think he was kind of a douche, hated the Cowboys and thought he was a choker. Turns out he's a really good guy according to most and he's a terrific qb who gets let down by his team way too much
re: Glimpse of advertising on NBA jerseys
Posted by BernardCastle on 8/11/16 at 1:29 pm to MJackson
Not a fan. They won't look as good as soccer jerseys and at least in soccer you don't have ad breaks. This is gonna be an overkill of advertisements for me but NBA wants more money so I don't blame them
