Agreed.
That "judge not, lest ye be judged" is kinda something I live by.
I've got my own issues, I don't need to worry about anyone else's.

It's a legitimate private conversation with God. And the Bible supports it.
Then why do the kool aid drinkers at the bethany type churches "interpret" it after the gibberish stops?
My father has gone to bethany for years amd used to force me to go when I was young. At 8-13 years old, I knew the $2000 suits "brother larry" wore, the gibberish and the sheep blindy handing their money (that most of them, including my father didn't have) was a complete crock of shite. How can an 8 year old figure this out and not a grown adult?

What good is a book that is so open to interpretation that something as direct as
"it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven"
can be interpreted as
it's good to be rich, Jesus wants you to be rich, especially pastors.
That's just one of hundreds of examples of these "interpretations"that have nothing to do with what is written in the bible.
Would love to see the look on the faces of all you smug christians when you die and realize the correct answer was the monkey God Hanuman.
Odds are definitely not in your favor of guessing the right one.
Dress light at your funeral.

here is an example. My buddy was doing missionary work in rural Mexico, he had been there for a few weeks wiorking on civil projects in town. The final service, a woman comes to the front, raises her hands, and began speaking journey English. He was blown away

This means my wife can cut her hair, wear shorts, and not be frowned upon for doing so. There is very little scripture to back up their "standards" you just have to read the bible, and study the history behind what was being said

It's as easy as that, huh?

It became obvious you won't go to hell for wearing pants if you were a woman. The bible states women should not wear that which pertaineth to a man. It wasn't pants they were referring to, it was body armor. See the trials of Joan of Arc

WTF is journey English? And what's so amazing about a Mexican woman speaking English? I see that shite everyday

Jesus abolished the old law books of the old testament. That's kind of the entire point of his message.
Also, either you just outclassed mizzou as a troll or I feel sorry for you and your wife. I can't figure out which.

I mean, you keep posting when obviously don't believe any of it .
People that do that usually are chortling to themselves about their superiority.
It was a just a simple motive-oriented question. (shrugs)

You are exactly correct, so much had changed after the crucifixion, why would you live under the Old Testament laws? It made no sense to me once undecided to research things for myself
ETA. No need to feel sorry, we are out of that now, we did miss out on a lot of life though.

You sure you don't have the new testament confused with the koran or some other book, cause I don't remember Jesus ever saying that?
Did he speak to you in a dream?
Would it be too much trouble to give us a reference verse on that?
