Clayton Kershaw will be an injury risk the rest of his career.

Right now its his back, next year it will be his elbow, then his shoulder, then his back again.

If he stayed healthy he could have made the Hall, but I think his injury shortened career will cause him to fall short.

Dodgers can't count on him being a rotation cornerstone going forward. They should be grateful for whatever they can get out of him, anything is better than nothing, but they need to start planning long term for the hole vacated in the rotation.

Nah, and I even said the same thing like a month ago until I delved deeper into his stats.

The leading indicator of a future pitcher injury is a prior injury.


But every pitcher is an injury risk for their entire career. Throwing a baseball fricks up your arm, it just does.

which is why its a good thing that this is his first major injury and has nothing to do with his arm or shoulder
