Will be going on the 15-22 just for fun. Looking for a two or single point

Been looking at a few in the $75 range at Cabellas. Anyone have any tips or reviews?

Go 2-point. Magpul is tough to beat for the price, I think the MS3 is the starting point. I'm about to put a sling on my basic M4 clone.

I'm a big fan of the Frank Proctor Way of the Gun 2 point sling.

$29

Attaches with included 550 cord loops, so you save money and weight from sling attachments.

Said this in the official thread as well. It's a great sling.

For strictly range use I like a single point sling attached to the end plate for an AR. When I transition to another firearm I can just remove the single point and attach to the new firearm. So going from a 20" rifle to a 6" pistol or SBR I don't have to do a bunch of buckle adjusting. Just attach and go. I'm not an operator nor to I pretend or train to be one so I don't worry about training with what I go to war with. If I'm doing any walking at all with a rifle like through the woods on a hunt it's two points with a quick adjuster all day every day over a single point. Or if I were to choose a single sling that lives on the rifle that will never be removed it's always a two point. I don't keep the slings attached to my rifles except a select few. I attach them when needed and remove them when I'm done with them.

I have a Blue Force Vickers I use with two QD's. Can't speak for others but it is comfortable and works well for me.

I also have a Magpul MS2? Works well too but I like the Blue Force better I couldn't tell you why. Can't really complain about either.

I also use a cheap $6 bungee single point I got off of Amazon. I actually use it more than the other two. Looks like this one.

I think this is one of a very, very few situations where a single point is preferable.

I don't know if it's worth doing a dedicated end plate, though. Have you found a "non" permanent single point solution that worked for you? I've never found one with good reviews. I guess some pistol grips and stocks try to do that function, but I'm not sold on any of them.

Here is a video from rifles only about their ftw sling.

It's a great video and should help anyone figure out what sling they should get.
