Nice beer but. Not my favorite

so Envie is the new Ghost.

I shite you not, not to pile on the Parish rhetoric, but... I had Envie on tap at Chimes a few days ago and it was a total juice bomb.

You gonna hit up The Bulldog in Leidseplein?

Like you, that was fun 20 years ago. Amsterdam has changed quite a bit from when I was last here 6 years ago. It is way busier ......more cyclist and pedestrians.....this is my 5th time here in 12 years so I have a good reference. And there are several areas away from the center that are booming with cafes, pubs, etc. We rarely go into the Leidseplein area anymore but did so tonight just to go to Spuyt.

yep had one today also and it was fantastic, listen don't get me wrong this batch of ghost is a very nice beer and other may say its the best batch yet, we all have different palates but for me i enjoy the NE style juicy juice
this one i get more "dank" and more pine and then citrus flavor, and a touch of malt presence is noticeable. However, i found as it warms, more complex tropical fruits and even floral notes are evident.

I figured as much.

And I was aware that a lot has changed. Mixologists from there have come to Tales of the Cocktail in Nola in recent years, as a few of them have been internationally recognized.

Would love to do a return visit like you are doing. I for one appreciate any pics you post in here. :Prost:

I know I'm in the minority here, but this makes me My buddy better not drink my share of the Ghost before I fetch it from him.

I'm looking for my new friends 4miles and yeezy.

I'm going to get them on that liquor one night. (Epic thread) I'm not a beer drinker, but I really enjoyed trying the different beers. They had me loaded Saturday night. Most fun I've had in a long time.
