Then coach needs to do press conference #124 and explicitly state he is not going to MICHIGAN (use the name.. dont talk about wiggle room) period. Dont talk about meeting wifey, having the kid there, loving Bo.... I AM not going to coach at Michigan next year. Period. End of Story.

Maybe another million/year would make him happy.

there are a ton of reporters saying stuff...

His anger was directed to the right people the first time ESPN...I'm telling you...Its Michigan alum/ex players fueling this fire...No one on Miles side has said a thing.

time for him to take it to the level of he's ready to play tOSU with his "motherfricking strong football team". that will let haters know who is in charge.

Hey Belowpar, is there any info on the defensive coordinator position? Really and truthfully I know will make an excellent hire for the position but Im really concerned for the open scholarships we have left.

I really don't know much...I know he has a short list of guys he likes...The only one I know for sure on that list that he has talked to is Tenuta.

I mean I think he completely put it to rest during the interview he had during the BCS selection show. In my opinion he will still have the chance to leave, but it would really hurt his reputation and show bad character after all the interviews he has had reagardind the situation. I think he doesn't want that reputation and knows he has it good here which is why he is going to honor his commitment to stay at LSU in the end. I don't think leaving LSU for Michigan would have been disrespectful in the beginning, but I think it would now.

Well ESPN is at it again. And they just said they all knew from the first day he would go. They are also taking up for Herbie.

I hope they get Egg on their face again.

reminds me of Saban rumors to Bama last year. Everyone thought the media was stoking it up.

What does Michigan gain by promulgating this if it isn't true?

It ain't over until UM hires a HC

ESPN's Firs and Ten just threw that quote back at Les and called him a liar.

He needs to let loose on the MI alums and ex-players...they are responsible for getting the bs to the reporters who in turn just keep fanning the flames. They need the story because there really isn't anything interesting going on in college football other than recruiting at the moment.

Coach Miles should call a press conference and put a stop to it and tell UM not to call anymore.

Seriously? UM has a lot to gain by pushing this. It is called damage control. Even if Miles is not remotely interested, UM brass is trying to show that they are "giving it the ole college try" with Miles. It is PR with a UM fanbase that is very upset.
