I dunno how many teams will be willing to give that up for a back end reliever and actually have it. Texas, maybe Cleveland?

Maybe Washington

Texas, Pitt, Stl, Houston all could.

Yeah I don't see the Astros doing it again, at least I hope not. Don't see Pitt or Stl either. Cleveland has some attractive prospects in Zimmer and Frazier but they may use it toward something else. I just don't think the market is there for several more elite relievers to get that kind of return
Texas is the one I could see but it seems like they're focusing on starting pitching

Dyson has been ok, with all their SP injuries they have to get another SP IMO to survive. If they can't get one or two I'm not sure they make the playoffs, crazy as that sounds. Darvish has to stay healthy
eta: The Nats probably need a closer. Papalbon seems to blow a game a week, Im sure it's not that bad but they need bullpen help bad

They would still need to find a way to dump Gomez in the process.
PLEASE let this happen, so I don't have to watch him play every night anymore...

Yup. They dont have to be blockbusters either.
Just serviceable and we'll be fine. We just need someone who can go 6 innings and not give up more than four runs.
Over this losing skid we've been averaging like 6 runs a game and giving up close 8. Not going to win many games doing that.
Cole Hamels is also the pitcher in the rotation to pick up a win since like June 25.

agree 100%. They can make the bullpen work but that starting staff has to get help, not #1 starters but just quality starts would be great.

Trea Turner starting in CF tonight. Not necessarily trade related, but if he can handle it out there, this may be an internal option to their biggest weakness.

Awesome! I was hoping this would be the move. If that locks down you then just need Zimmerman to get off his arse or make a 1B play in the trade market. Or even a 2B play and move Murphy over.

Andrew Cashner is reportedly who Texas is targeting now.

Aroldis Chapman is reportedly not happy about the trade.

If true, hide your mattresses in Chicagoland.

I heard it on 670 the score on Tunein. His translator was awful. He was fine where he was apparently. They keep saying how his translator did an awful job.

I just find it hard to believe that he really gives a shite where he goes at this point. In about 3 months he'll get to pick anywhere so why the hell does it matter. Not to mention he gets a chance to win it all. If he were under contract for 4 years and didn't like where he was traded I would understand. A three month rental, not so much.

Way too many people care about off the field issues: If they aren't in jail/not convicted and can help the team I want them on my team. The moral outrage regarding Chapman bothers me a lot

Will be a Yankee in the offseason

I'm the same way. Represented many people in these domestic situations who I honestly believed were innocent. Most people don't realize that all it takes to be arrested and charged with a crime is some disgruntled SO to make an affidavit. Literally thats it 9 times out of 10.
