DDL is an extreme version, he does like 1 movie and then goes and works as a welder for 5 years.
Off the top of my head guys like Brad Pitt, Dicaprio, Damon, Clooney, Affleck don't do all that many movies, maybe one release per year. I imagine these guys get their pick of the scripts and top salaries. Why do you think these guys don't do a lot of movies compared to other guys like Sam Jackson, DeNiro, The Rock.
What does that have to do with McCutchen? NBA revenue wasn't all that much in the 90's so Jordan probably got as much as he could at the time of signing and then got balloon payments which Andrew won't and McCutchen doesn't have a sneaker deal
I hope he does but he struggled a lot at the beginning of last year and he has a -0.5 WAR this season and just got benched. Also when he hits free agency he will be 31 and if he picks up his play the pirates will just pick up his option and keep him for one more year
Trout still got way more than Andrew though. 144 vs 51.5 over the same amount of years
He signed a 6 - $51.5 that would take him from 2012 to 2017. Now I now he is financially set for life but if he hadn't signed that deal he would have been a free agent last winter and at age 28 probably would have signed a 200 + million deal just based on how good his 2012-2014 years were and even 2015 wasn't that bad as he was still a 4.9 WAR player. Can you remember a guy who passed up as much money as this guy has by taking a pre arbitration contract
Wish billionaires would pay for their own palaces
He has an opt out as well so he's probably gonna get even more money
Tom Brady turned 39 today

Tyrann Mathieu is the highest paid safety in NFL

His point was that ironically the year they won the super bowl Manning was the weak point not that Manning was the weak point in his first 3 years. Also I don't think its greedy for a guy who has never gotten market value because of the economic system of the league to want to get paid. He played like a top 5 qb last year and should want to be compensated accordingly

I still don't get how the brewers didn't get more from the rangers
They should make the wildcard 3 games instead of 1
I like that he says he is open to new ideas although not all ideas he puts out there are very smart ie. bullpen limits. I think he is very transparent and does interviews which is much better than Goodell. I also like that he recognizes the importance of youth participation and engaging young fans and is pushing forward with PlayBall and RBI initiatives. Overall I think he is pretty competent but we will see going forward with the CBA expiring and cord cutting and how he keeps the business functioning.
I wish the Astros would put together a package for Sale. With Bregman and Gourriel entering the lineup I expect the offense to be improved and I think Sale would help put us over the top in the playoffs
Revenue. I believe their profit was $50 million which isn't a great margin in the corporate world but much higher than most sports franchises outside of ones that don't spend any money
The Packers made 410 million in revenue in 2015-16. Thats an absurd amount for especially for a team in Wisconsin
disgruntled woman, guys don't make up bogus allegations
