Amry brat, dad retired an E-9 Engineer after being profiled out of the Infantry due to hearing loss from three tours in Viet Nam, was stationed in:

Ft Wood, MO (too many times)
Ft Lewis, WA
Nashville, TN
Darmstadt Germany
The Arsenal in Chicago

Job? 1T2X1, Pararescue
Stationed? MacDill for special assignments, Hurlburt Field was my permanent station.
Tours/deployment? LOL,we went every fricking where.

I didn't serve, but both my son's are at USAF Academy. They'll graduate 2017 and 2018. Both want to be pilots (one wants to fly drones).

US Army Active - 1993-1997

Basic Training - Ft Jackson, SC (1st time)
Ft Benning, GA (2nd time)

Job - 98G Signal Intelligence Interceptor (Korean)
11M Mechanized Infantry

Stationed - Monterrey, CA Defense Language Institute (1 year)
Ft. Lewis, WA (3 years)

I also served 4 years in the Louisiana National Guard after my active time was up.

We did a couple of 30 day exercises in Korea and Thailand while I was at Ft. Lewis but I was never deployed anywhere. I also did 2 NTC rotations.

I got in right after Somalia and I got out of the National guard before the 2nd gulf war.

Thats why we served so people could have the right to downvote us . He couldnt pass the test to get in i guess.

Almost positive he was a contractor.

As for myself, Army, started infantry. Earned airborne, ranger, air assault, CIB. Did two tours in afghan and one brief one in Iraq. Hung up my infantry boots.
