Here's what I know as of now...

There is NO talks with the University of Michigan in the regards of "Miles is our guy, What can we do to get him"...
If Miles talked to MSC &/or Bill Martin on Friday, I believe it was out of simple courtesy.
There is NO deal in the works with Michigan and Michigan has not been calling.
Again if they talked on Friday, I'm pretty sure it was just a courtesy call and nothing more. There has been no "official" talks about any deal or anything of the sorts.
Everyone relax :)

If you think the call Friday, the visit Saturday and the call yesterday were only to solict Miles' advice....hard to believe this much effort, this quickly to simply extend a courtesy. Rumor here is an offer was made....probably rumor but makes for interestting fodder...

That may, or may not, be true.
The damage has been done by merely talking to them. no matter what the topic.

Bertman is in the Michigan paper saying talk permission has expired and I think all this Miles to Michigan bull is ESPN still holding out on their misinfo. Read the michigan papers today.

Given the fact that everything you've said in the past has been accurate, I will.
But I still think Miles needs to admit that he's just assisting his alma mater in their search for a new coach and is not the subject of their search.

Talking to them one time is not an offense to kill a guy over...I'm sure the conversation went something along the lines of, sorry everything came out like it did, we wish you best...blah blah...smooth things over...I don't think there was anything in that conversation about will you come coach at Michigan...
